HELP THE CHILDREN SUCCEED

Student Success Academy

The Student Success Academy  (SSA) is a grant funded, six week program that provides Pitt County rising 6th grade students the skills necessary to be successful and productive in the transition from elementary to middle school.  The SSA was created and implemented by a group of non-profit local agencies including the Boys and Girls Club, Building Hope Community Life Center, the Intergenerational Community Center, Greenville Police Department, the Sheriff’s Department, United Way of Pitt County, Pitt County Schools and Pitt County Educational Foundation.

All donations go towards supplies that are given to the children of Pitt County so that they have the resources that they need to succeed.

We have many volunteers who work with us throughout the year and visit our sites in Pitt County. Visit the volunteer page to learn more and sign up!

Our two primary missions are that all children enter school ready to learn and that all youth graduate from high school.
